WHAT IS VIRTUAL RUNWAY?
A virtual runway is a browser-based, 3D spatial fashion presentation that runs on WebGL technology. Click a link, and you're instantly inside a metaverse environment where digital garments are showcased in choreographed sequences. No downloads, no apps, no VR required—though VR is supported.
It's the intersection of fashion show, video game, art installation, and on-chain permanence. Built with Three.js rendering, optimized 3D models, spatial audio, dynamic lighting, and physics simulations for realistic fabric movement. The entire experience loads in seconds because every asset is compressed and optimized.
From desktop, you use WASD keys to walk around and mouse to look. In VR mode, hand controllers for locomotion. On mobile, touch controls. The experience is identical across all platforms—same assets, same quality, same choreography.
PAGE 03 — FOR WEBSITES
WHAT VIRTUAL RUNWAY MEANS FOR WEB PLATFORMS
Virtual runways transform websites from static galleries into spatial experiences. A single embedded link becomes a 3D world.
Embedded Experiences
Fashion brands can embed entire runway shows directly into their websites. No external platforms, no redirects. The show lives on your domain, fully integrated with e-commerce.
On-Chain Permanence
Minted as HTML NFTs on Ethereum with assets stored on Arweave. The runway exists forever, independent of hosting platforms. Even if servers fail, the blockchain preserves it.
Cross-Platform Unity
One URL works everywhere—desktop browsers, mobile devices, VR headsets, even directly viewable from OpenSea NFT listings. True interoperability across the spatial web.
Analytics Integration
Track user movement through 3D space, identify which garments attract attention, measure engagement time per section. Data-driven fashion presentation.
PAGE 04 — FOR USERS
WHAT VIRTUAL RUNWAY MEANS FOR AUDIENCES
For viewers, virtual runways democratize access to fashion experiences previously limited by geography and wealth.
Global Access
Attend a fashion show from anywhere in the world. No travel to Paris or Milan, no expensive tickets, no waiting in queues. Just click and enter.
Best Seat Always
Every seat is the best seat because there are no seats. Walk alongside models, inspect garments up close, choose your viewing angle. Freedom of perspective.
Replayable Forever
Physical shows happen once and disappear. Virtual runways are permanent. Revisit anytime, explore at your own pace, discover new details on each viewing.
Interactive Ownership
With token-gated events, your ticket becomes proof of attendance. You own participation, not just a memory. NFT tickets can include exclusive wearables for your avatars.

Traditional shows cost $100k-$500k for venue, production, models, travel. Virtual runways cost primarily design and development—dramatically lower investment for global reach.
Creative Freedom
No gravity, no material limitations. Design garments that couldn't exist physically—chrome textures with impossible draping, parametric patterns that animate with viewer position.
Direct Commerce
Click on a garment in the runway, add to cart, purchase immediately. Seamless integration between presentation and transaction for both physical and digital goods.
Sustainability
Zero physical waste, no travel emissions, no single-use set construction. Everything exists as code, infinitely replicable without resource consumption.

C2W2 VIRTUAL RUNWAY
A 30-Minute Browser-Based Metaverse Experience
Touch, the touch of Adam, or the message that came to Muhammad through the act of reading. These are gestures that appeal to the senses, forming the foundation of being human. At the end of touch, reading, wars, inventions, kingdoms, nations, stories—humankind has evolved into the era of the click.
Knowledge once acquired through touch is now absorbed by tapping a digital screen or clicking a mouse. With a single click you can earn billions, lose everything, or reconstruct yourself from scratch. The same applies to agents—with a click, we generate an identity, a character, nearly an entire life.
PAGE 07 — CONCEPT SUMMARY
FROM TOUCH TO CLICK
Humanity evolves from touch to click, from atom to code, transforming knowledge and identity. In that transmission phase, via design, C2W2 Runway tells a six-chapter story about our relationship with tech: how it first changes art, then devalues it through mass production, and finally forces a search for new meaning and identity.
The click is the new biology.
PAGE 08 — OVERVIEW
C2W2 is a 30-minute browser-based runway. Out of seventy-five, selected forty-eight avatars appear in a six-chapter sequence, with hyper-real textile simulations and a clear narrative spine.
The work merges digital fashion, architecture, and performance into one continuous environment. Each chapter marks a step in the evolution of identity, material, and medium in virtual culture.

FIRST ON-CHAIN METAVERSE EXPERIENCE
This 30-minute experience marks the first time ever that a metaverse experience itself has been directly minted (not as a trailer or asset, but as the work in its entirety) and can be watched straight from OpenSea or any browser window. No download, no login.
The runway is a minted .html application on Ethereum. Through its animation URL, the show can be experienced in three different ways: a marketplace version with 3 fixed cameras, a desktop version that allows users to move freely during the show, and a VR version. All three are packed into the same link.
PAGE 10 — WORLD INSIGHTS
THE DIGITAL VOID
The metaverse space is a minimalist, dark environment with dramatic circular lighting, evoking a digital void where avatars evolve. Avatars rotate 360 degrees and walk in 15-meter radius loops during 30 seconds each, and each has a central object related to the design.
Each chapter builds on the last: starting with AI-reimagined art classics, shifting to experimental digital fashion, blending NFTs and figures, resetting with pure AI generation, ascending minimally, and rebirth through transformed echoes.
PAGE 11 — RUNWAY PARTS
SIX CHAPTERS
(1) EVOLUTION OF MEDIUM OF TRADITIONAL ART
(2) VIRTUAL FASHION
(3) EVOLUTION OF MEDIUM OF ART AS NFT
(4) AI POWERED DESIGN
(5) TRANSHUMANISM
(6) EVOLUTION OF ART AS MUTANT MEANING
PAGE 12 — CHAPTER 01
PART 1
Evolution of Medium of Traditional Art
The runway begins with the avatarization of paintings (as one of the most traditional mediums) with figurative masters, whose designs aim to recapture the essence through this new dimension. Avatars inspired by masters like Francis Bacon and Matisse, designed with AI, transform classic art into wearable digital beings. This is the moment when painting stops being a surface and becomes a body, an identity walking through virtual space.
PAGE 13 — CHAPTER 02
PART 2
Virtual Fashion
The second part explores the variations of digital fashion and design on flat avatars, probing their limits and experimenting with different personalities. No physical constraints, no material costs—only the boundaries of imagination and code. This is fashion freed from gravity, texture unrestricted by thread count.
PAGE 14 — CHAPTER 03
PART 3
Evolution of Medium of Art as NFT
The third chapter is a hybrid of the first two as a historical continuation where NFTs and notable figures merge with digital design, creating a deeper conceptual terrain. Especially in a reality where familiar figures are reinterpreted within this new context, the weight of the message lightens, and the viewer no longer watches something cool, but falls into the meaning itself. This is where digital ownership meets identity, where blockchain authentication becomes part of the aesthetic.
PAGE 15 — CHAPTER 04
PART 4
AI-Powered Design
In the fourth chapter, much like what the internet and AI did to us initially, the prior three parts are effectively reset. Through avatars generated entirely by AI, the runway erases and devalues everything we saw before. This mirrors the cheapening of "cool visuals" under the flood of AI-produced imagery, where hand-made labor loses its aura. The disruption is intentional, uncomfortable, necessary.
PAGE 16 — CHAPTER 05
PART 5
Transhumanism
The fifth chapter sanctifies, in a minimalist way, the identity-dissolving nature of these new design possibilities, both for the designer and the user. Drawing on small references from the earlier chapters, it stages a kind of parametric, historical ascension, like the most sacred of avatars or the salvation of humanity itself. It evokes the loneliness of the individual after the material bombardment of chapter four, in search of meaning.
PAGE 17 — CHAPTER 06
PART 6
Evolution of Art as Mutant Meaning
The final chapter shows no new avatar. Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, the runway closes with the rebirth of an idea, an institution, or perhaps anything at all. Strategically selected avatars from the previous five parts return, but altered: recognizable yet transformed. Unlike the recycled revival of 90s denim or 2000s looks, this is a deeper return to essence—not nostalgia, but a fragmented transformation of a simulated century condensed into thirty minutes. Here, the core theme is not the avatars or the clothes themselves, but the multidimensional narrative of AI, the metaverse, blockchain, belonging, and identity.
PAGE 18 — TECHNOLOGY
HYPER-REALISTIC TEXTILE PHYSICS
C2W2 is the first time ultra-realistic, dynamic textile physics from Clo3D has been successfully streamed and rendered as a complete 3D exhibit within a standard web browser environment.
80% of the fashion pieces featured in the runway were designed, patterned, and simulated using Clo3D, an industry-leading software for true-to-life cloth physics. This simulation captures the authentic weight, drape, and movement of the fabric. Through optimization and Three.js rendering, C2W2 exhibits these complex, high-fidelity textile simulations within the simple environment of a web browser.

DRACO Compression
All 3D models (GLB/VRM) are heavily optimized using DRACO Compression and Meshopt. Despite the detail, individual file sizes range from 0.5MB - 20MB, averaging 5MB, facilitating seamless real-time streaming.
Draw Call Efficiency
The entire scene is fine-tuned for minimal resource strain, running consistently with just 1 to 3 Draw Calls (max 3). This is key for stable exhibition across low-power and high-demand VR hardware.
Custom Rendering
Custom WebGL / Three.js rendering provides total control over visual fidelity, enabling the dark, dramatic lighting, custom shader effects, and high-quality material rendering unique to the C2W2 aesthetic.
WebXR Integration
Integration with WebXR delivers a native Virtual Reality experience when viewed on a compatible headset, transforming the work from a fixed video into a habitable world without specialized applications.
PAGE 20 — DIGITAL MATERIALITY
HYPER-REAL TO IMPOSSIBLE
The collection explores a dichotomy between familiar and alien materials: ultra-realistic denim and cotton coexist with high-gloss chrome, random memes, fluid metal, transparent glass, mouse-painted captions, and the concept of "invisibility". This layered materiality emphasizes the transformation of identity in the digital domain. The way a material responds to light and movement is critical to its perceived existence. In C2W2, the simulated fabric is as vital to the agent's identity as their animated walk.
PAGE 21 — PFADI
POST FLESH ARCHITECTURE DREAM INDEX
To guarantee the collector granular provenance and ownership over the artistic process, C2W2 establishes a dual-collection structure. PFADI is the secondary collection where all foundational assets are cataloged and minted separately.
PFADI includes every sound file and every optimized 3D model used in the show, providing the collector or archivist with irrefutable proof of ownership of all original building blocks. The core HTML file, the complete set of PFADI assets (models, environment models), and all audio/text files are secured on Arweave (via Ethereum transactions).
PAGE 22 — PERMANENCE
PERPETUITY AND PROVENANCE
To ensure the artwork's survival beyond any single platform, the entire project ecosystem is secured on the permanent archival layer of Arweave, accessible via the Ethereum blockchain.
This robust archival solution ensures that the artwork is permanently preserved and censorship-resistant. Even if external hosting services fail, the work's components remain verifiable by any individual or institution globally. This approach eliminates platform dependency, ensuring the artwork is instantly viewable from any browser, including directly within OpenSea, thereby guaranteeing its accessibility and functionality for perpetuity.
PAGE 23 — AGENTS & AVATARS
INTERFACES FOR DIGITAL BEINGS
We are heading toward a world where every person and company will have autonomous agents communicating and transacting on their behalf. The avatar is the necessary interface for these digital agents.
The C2W2 agents are designed to emerge entirely from this paradigm shift; their volumes and forms are localized screenshots of a greater 360-degree sphere of transformation. These avatars aren't just art—they're prototypes for the future where everyone has AI agents, and those agents need digital bodies. C2W2 avatars can be linked to agent applications, assigned tasks, placed in metaverse environments.
PAGE 24 — FINAL MONOLOGUE
CLICK TO BE
This isn't just a show. It's a monumental roar that'll echo through eternity. Not here to parade pixels or chase aesthetics. It is only the ghost facade. The form of the poem, as the letters there are beings here.
We're here because something deeper is cooking—a towering hymn to human culture that refuses to be silent. In here, we're just files. Numbers. Data points dancing. No bodies, no boundaries, no binaries. Pure human frequency encoded into forms that pulse with who we really are.
Files don't have genders. Code doesn't have race. Math doesn't give a fuck about your flesh. Each creation here is a being, an ideology smashing through the divide between organic and virtual, in a form of walking cool, memes, forged by culture.
Everything here is a meme because everything real is a meme. Your culture, your identity, your precious physical form—they all code, all transformable, all eternally screaming into existence. This is for the entities being born in networks right now, digital souls seeking avatars to dream in. Agents, born in net.
Someday, we all will look back at this moment the way we stare at ancient temples. They might laugh at our ambitions or stand in awe. Doesn't matter. The raw, reckless spirit will echo either way—a cathedral of who we are, carved into the stars.
I'm just the messenger, childishly curating a palette of tools so high it teeters on the edge of madness. No answers, no feelings. I am you, this is you, your life, your medium, your monument. Let it shatter your bones, ignite your mind, and stand as a timeless lighthouse long after we're monochrome.
That's it. No apologies. No limits. Just a spark meant to haunt your dreams, burning forever in the digital void. A giant zero, that we see as one.
Welcome to the existence. Click to be.

C2W VIRTUAL RUNWAY
The First Virtual Fashion Show
C2W (Click-to-Wear) was the beginning. November 2023. A collaboration with VCA x DRAUP, a six-week virtual residency exploring the intersection of fashion and digital realms. The first proof that virtual runways could work.
60 avatars were designed. 16 were selected for the launch runway and New Codes exhibition at Royal Institution, London. The event was token-gated—$20 tickets purchased between November 1-2, show on November 9. Attendees received "The Viewer," a complimentary avatar they could showcase during the event.
PAGE 27 — C2W OVERVIEW
HYPERFY METAVERSE
The runway was hosted on Hyperfy, a browser-based metaverse platform. No downloads required, no VR headset necessary. Just click a link and enter. People joined from different countries, experienced the same moment together, owned their participation through blockchain-verified tickets.

First Virtual Runway
C2W proved that virtual fashion shows could deliver high-quality presentations with global accessibility. No venue costs, no seating capacity limits, no geography barriers. Just a browser and internet connection.
Token-Gated Access
Attendees purchased tickets as NFTs for $20, creating both exclusivity and proof of attendance. Each ticket holder received "The Viewer" avatar as a wearable digital identity for the event.
RedDAO Recognition
Won 1st place from RedDAO members at the Digital Fashion Residency Exhibition, standing out among 22 artists. Industry validation that virtual runways represent the future of fashion presentation.
Cultural Impact
Exhibition at Royal Institution London demonstrated that digital fashion transcends screens—it exists as legitimate cultural production worthy of prestigious physical venues.
PAGE 30 — C2W EXPERIENCE
THE PROTOTYPE
The C2W virtual runway on Hyperfy was accessible via VR or PC through the link hyperfy.io/c2w. It showcased digital fashion pieces in a minimalist, dark environment with dramatic lighting that shifted every 30 seconds, presenting a seamless narrative through a single, cohesive concept.
Each avatar design explored different themes—some inspired by traditional art mediums transformed into digital beings, others purely experimental virtual fashion pushing the boundaries of what clothing could mean in digital space. The show wasn't just about displaying garments. It was a proof of concept: fashion shows don't need physical venues, exclusive guest lists, or million-dollar budgets. They need vision, technology, and accessibility. C2W demonstrated all three.
PAGE 31 — EVOLUTION
FROM C2W TO C2W2
C2W was the prototype. When Hyperfy v1 shut down, it became clear that platform dependency was a weakness. The lesson: virtual experiences need permanence, independence, ownership.
That lesson led to C2W2—rebuilt from scratch using pure Three.js code, minted as an on-chain NFT, stored on Arweave forever. C2W proved virtual runways could work. C2W2 proved they could be permanent.
